2001 CULLODEN PIPING AND DRUMMING COMPETITION RULES

General Information and Rules

Dates:

All competition will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2001, at Culloden, Georgia. Solo competition begins at 9:00 o'clock a.m. Band competition begins at 2:00 o'clock p.m.

Rules:

Competition will be conducted in accordance with EUSPBA rules. The rules may be found online at EUSPBA or obtained by mail at EUSPBA, Suite 560, Peoples Plaza - 316, Newark, Delaware, 19702. Please check the rules for all tune and music requirements.

Solo Competition:

Entry fee for solo competitors is $10.00, and if postmarked by April 7, 2000 includes admission (please include a self addressed, stamped envelope). Field entries for all events will be accepted prior to 8:45 o'clock a.m. on April 28. Field entry does not include admission. Prizes: 1st place - gold medal, 2nd place - silver medal, 3rd place - bronze medal.

Band Competition:

No band entry fee is required. Travel assistance of $200 to band and admission for all band members for each band registration postmarked by April 7, 2000 (please include a self addressed, stamped envelope.) Field entries will be permitted prior to 8:45 o'clock a.m. on April 28. Field entry does not include travel assistance or admission for band members. Bands must participate in the opening and closing ceremonies, and play one additional set on the field. Prizes: 1st - $300, 2nd - $200, 3rd - $100.
